A light rust wash is recommended for achieving rust effects on various surfaces, ideal for both vehicles and accessories. Its light rusty hue contrasts effectively with dark greens, resulting in a realistic matte finish. Particularly suited for amphibious or conventional vehicles exposed to wet environments, it's also excellent for simulating rust on abandoned vehicles. The primary method employed for weathering models is the wash, a traditional technique still widely utilized in modeling. To apply the wash, shake the bottle well and use a large brush to accentuate details and generate shadows. Any excess wash can be effortlessly removed with a clean brush and White Spirit.
