Aqueous Hobby Color is a user-friendly paint that can be diluted with water and brushed , easy water wash up  before the paint dries. The solvent in this paint is mild which offers smooth texture and excellent leveling properties, This results in a high-quality painted finish.

You can adjust the gloss levels achieved with gloss coat Aqueous Hobby Colors by using H-40 Flat Base. Mixing around 5% of H-40 Flat Base will convert gloss colors to a matte finish, while 5 to 10% will create a semi-gloss finish. You can vary the amount of Flat Base used to control the level of gloss.When brush painting, it's generally not necessary to dilute Aqueous Hobby Color, but if using an airbrush, dilute the paint with 100 to 150% Mr.Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111).For brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are usually recommended, and 2 to 3 coats when using an airbrush. If applying a light color over a darker base, additional coats may be needed.
