MG 1/100 MSZ-006A1 Zetaplus

This iteration of the 1/100 MG Zeta Gundam represents the prototype version seen at Anaheim Electronics during the project's initial stages. With eight full-size runners housing hundreds of multi-colored parts, this kit presents a significant assembly challenge, yet the construction process is remarkably smooth. Apart from its transformation capability, the kit boasts an array of additional features. Every component is articulated, including the forehead antennas which can fold up. The package also includes three sets of hands—fists, open palms, and posable ones—along with standard armaments like the "beam saber" sword, dual Vulcan cannon, beam rifle, and shield.

All Bandai MG (as well as HG) kits are designed for snap-together assembly, with parts molded in color, eliminating the need for painting. However, enthusiasts can enhance the model's appearance by using cement and paints. Many surface markings are pre-printed onto the plastic parts, though the kit provides replacement transfers for those who prefer to paint their models.
